We were back at it again with a rehearsal on Sunday, right before Louisville Winds’ recording session. Big thanks goes out to Kirk Knight, band director at Male High School, who let us use the band room while he set up the stage!

We played through a few pieces, including Cantos Inaequalis (which needs some edits), a two-movement work by Nelhybel, and The Marriage of Figaro—the last two courtesy of Angela.

I’ve been in touch with Dr. Speck about playing before Chamber Winds Louisville’s June concert for the Wind Band Institute and with Nan Moore about performing before Louisville Winds’ May concert at Iroquois Amphitheater, though nothing is confirmed yet.
