Contact: Tom Barker

Their web site was in need of an overhaul. Joomla had been the solution for many years. However, with the lack of updates, it had slowly deteriorated over time. Most recently, the hosting provider made an update to their PHP install, and the site broke. To remedy this, I requested an update in the type of CMS (content management system) being used. I indicated that it seemed we’d outgrown Joomla and that something more socially interactive would possibly be the answer. After suggesting WordPress, Mr. Barker gave the go-ahead. The result: a WordPress install with custom membership features. Students, parents, staff, and visitors alike can register and see information about the site. They can now interact on a personal level as well as a public one, and have a more social experience while learning about the band!
